Overview
Diamond Standard is a pioneering fintech company bridging the gap between physical diamonds and digital assets through blockchain-backed tokenization. Shapeflux was brought in to design the entire Diamond Standard App from the ground up — a complex, multi-surface digital product serving investors, traders, and asset managers operating at the intersection of commodities and crypto. The scope of work was expansive: Gabriel led the end-to-end Figma design process, producing interactive prototypes, custom illustrations, iconography, micro-animations, motion interactions, detailed user flows, and a comprehensive component library — all built to production-ready standards. Every element was crafted to reflect the precision and trust that Diamond Standard's high-net-worth audience demands. The result is a polished, investor-grade digital product with a cohesive design language capable of scaling across web, dashboard, and future platform surfaces. The Challenge
Diamond Standard faced the challenge of making a highly complex financial product feel intuitive, trustworthy, and accessible to a sophisticated but design-sensitive audience. There was no existing design foundation to build from, meaning every decision, from typography to interaction patterns, had to be made from scratch while balancing complexity with usability.
Our Approach
llShapeflux approached the project with a design-systems-first mindset, establishing core foundations — color, typography, spacing, and component architecture — before advancing into screen-level design.
